I leave in the morning for MCRD PI!  I didn’t get sent today, so one last night in a comfy bed. Not so bad. MEPS Was crazy today. I had to do my Crunches and flex hang first and apart from everyone because my height and weight requirements were all messed up and no one knew what was the right answer so they just had me do my IST. Did the flex hang for 40 seconds.. they only wanted 30 and I didn’t hear em say get down. I would have gone for 70.. my adrenaline was pumpin. Then they asked for 50 crunches and I busted em out in 1:06 time… so I had a whole minute left pretty much. ALL WHILE DOING THIS I had a Sgt, 2 gunnys, and the Major who runs this whole area around MEPS watching me. She then, the Major, told me later that it is obvious that I am the strongest recruit out of my group and that I need to take charge and be the leader. And that I should learn to do the sock bun and teach the others females I am leaving with.  So Now I am group leader and me and the few other girls are going to learn how to do it. So all in all.. a GREAT Birthday. :D To have a Major tell me that AFTER having to deal with the weight thing… Feels pretty good.
